Clinton Wood. US Army Medic Highly Recommends James Marshall After Serving With Him In Iraq.

I served with James Marshall in the Reconnaissance platoon of the 1-293rd Infantry during Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003). James was a Sergeant (E-5) and I was a newly minted Specialist (E-4). I had the opportunity to see James in some of the most dangerous situations imaginable. He performed professionally and without regard to his own safety. He always placed the needs of those under his authority, over his own.

I recall James being weather-beaten from wind, sun, sand, and hadn’t slept well in the most challenging and dangerous situations, and seeing him level-headed throughout the entire deployment despite the danger and challenges. I would serve with James again without question.
